After the uproar in Haldwani, Uttarakhand, an alert has also been issued in Rampur and Moradabad. Police have been instructed to patrol continuously. Police of Uttarakhand border police station Thakurdwara and Bhagatpur police station have been given instructions for special vigil. Vehicles are being checked at the border.
Apart from this, police teams are also monitoring social media. Curfew has been imposed in Haldwani after the uproar on Thursday. In view of this, Moradabad and Rampur police have been alerted. The border of Thakurdwara and Bhagatpur police stations is adjacent to Uttarakhand. SSP Hemraj Meena said that the police has been alerted.
All police station in-charges and COs have been directed to patrol their respective areas with the force. Interrogate the people standing unnecessarily at intersections. Thakurdwara and Bhagatpur police have started checking vehicles coming and going from Uttarakhand.
Police are also checking the IDs of people who appear suspicious. Police of Civil Lines, Katghar, Majhola, Bhojpur, Dilari, Mundhapande, Kotwali, Galshaheed, Pakbada, Chhajlat, Kanth are checking. Apart from this, social media is also being monitored.
